Theres another new virus making the rounds..., You see in your emails something saying your email was returned for some reason, either the recievers mail box was full or something else silly... It says to click on a document to show why.. DO NOT CLICK ! ! ! ! Go to the symantec site to get all the details on this new one... just a warning to all members to be on the look out for this

Is this a free upgrade of their purchased software or is the whole thing free?

   

Had the bagel,beagle(variation),netsky and a few others attempt to get in last week. I even got one from [email protected],any telus users be aware that if telus sends you mail it will allways be from [email protected].
Norton caught them all.
I took hotmail off as an acct in outlook express and since then I only get email from hotmail staff and people in my address book on my h.mail acct.. Im not sure if hotmail cleaned up there spam control or if I found a bug.

One came from a hotmail acct.

Mailwasher will also stop these viruses if you run it before you open your email.

Running adaware6 also stopped one attempt,norton only found it while running adaware,the only way to clean is to turn off system restore and then do a full scan again as the infected file will stay in the restore folder and most anti virus programs cant change files there.

So now the hackers are putting out different variations of netsky,sobig,etc,and useing the hidden tag to message there insults back and forth in the code. Too funny.

I used to use norton but it wouldnt remove alot of things. Give avast a try

   

that first one wasnt intentional,no idea why I replied to it.

   

I did try Avast......it was all right. I just reformatted so I wanted an anti virus running before I went online...I had Norton on a disk therefore it got used. It works fine for me so far. Ewido spyware seems fairly good too.
