Soooo whats with the avatars people are using.
I seem to have only one choice outside the site's option list.
Upload from my computer.
Is there a level of posts where I can upload an avatar from an off site off computer upload deal.

Tech is not my forte, actually nothing is my forte. Is there a medal for morons?

   

save an image. Reduce it to 125 x 150.... paste....or are noobs limited to what they can upload?

Save to your pics, go to edit avatar, add your pic.....ka-ching....

no noob problems, anybody with a current account should be good to go

ok how about people get to throw rocks at me if I can get an avatar not uploaded from my computer due to extreme paranoid delusions of online weirdness.

i paste images in the red tabs and nothing happens after I submit.

so

1> where do I paste a pic
2>How do i link that to an avatar thingy
3>Is this what you are telling me anyway
4>does anyone have all day to help me with this
5>do bribes of partial nudity of my hairy old guy arse worth offering.
6> Can chicks actually dig old guy hairy arses and not be in a state of dementia yet.

Have you sized your pic to the correct size?

   

When you have done that, go to 'My CKA' in the top bar. Hit 'User control panel' from the drop-box, hit 'profile', hit 'edit avatar, hit 'choose file', select the pic you want to use (make sure it is the right size), hit 'submit'.

That should do it.
You can keep your hairy old guy ass pics tho

   

1) on the drop down menu click on My CKA

2) on the right hand side click on edit profile

3) on the left hand side click on Edit avatar

4) follow instructions...."Choose file" takes you to your pictures

   

Yeah, I have no idea how long it took me to resize my Sisko gif. I think I'll just leave it there since it's too much effort to actually find a good gif so small.

   

Are you used to using punch cards or something?

In your intro thread you said you wanted that Dracula picture. Save this somewhere on your computer (I assume you know how). Right-click, "save image as", put it somewhere like your Desktop or Documents. If you have a recent Windows computer, it'll suggest Downloads. Wherever, just put it somewhere you can find it again.

After that, choose it and upload it at the avatar page by following everyone else's instructions. It should work. If you are having trouble stumbling through the User Control Panel, just click here.

After that it will give you a message saying the change was a success, then take you back to the avatar page, which will now show your avatar.

   

Crop it and make it squarish, as well. It is more "efficient" and will appear to display larger.
