Canadaka @ Sat Mar 17, 2007 11:14 pm

there are so many small and fringe parties it doens't make sense making a group/forum for them all. SO I will stick to the major federal political parties for now.

A United Left would be CKA based only.. no party sympathies.
If there is an outcry for this... Would you consider it?

UPDATE

I have decided to make a small change to the Political Party forums now. I will make posting in these forums for group members only. There are enough people who have joined the various groups to warrent this now. I didn't want to do this at the start.

This will better help self enforce the rules for these sub-froums. Only like-minded posters should be posting.

A reminder of how these forums work. New posts & topics made in these forums do not show up on the "recent topics" list unless you are a member of the assosiated group. If you are a member they will show up and will be highlighted the group colour, to make them stand out.

You will now have to be a member of the party group to post in these forums, viewing will still be open to all, if they manualy visit the forum. Below are the various political groups to join:

CKA Liberals

CKA Conservatives

CKA NDP

CKA Green

CKA Bloc

I noticed this forum has a lot of international members. I was thinking about suggesting something like *broad* political terms that could work the same way we are doing the parties here.

Left Wing
Right Wing

and the same deal-a-roo with the forum stuff.... that would be cool.

Just wondering, oh and I love how much features and stuff this forum has! So feature packed! I love it! I am having to get acquainted with all the cool stuff their is. Great forum and site you got.

Could I suggest 2 more groups Trevor?

Republicans
Democrats

Why?

Because their is a lot of American members on her and a lot of Canadians into American politics too.

the logos are easy just the elephant and the donkey.

Just a thought :D

Well technically as much as we all don't like it, the Bloc is an official Canadian party.

I still feel because of:

a) American members
b) Canadian members who love American politics

their should be Republican and Democrat political groups.

I think it kinda go's against the Canada Kicks Ass theme.
