News Submission Mistake

REPLY

JaredMilne @ Thu Sep 13, 2012 7:51 pm

I just submitted a news item that says that former Alberta Premier Peter Lougheed died in hospital today. Unfortunately, when I copy and pasted the link it added in an image, one that the site didn't accept. When I got the message that said that the image had to be a GIF or something similar, I thought that the link didn't go through and I submitted it again.

As a result, the message now appears twice on the news wire. I'd appreciate it if one of them was eliminated-this is a mistake on my part and I didn't mean to post it twice.

My apologies.

Delete the contents of the submission, and it will disappear on it's own.

How do I do that? It doesn't show up in the My Posts section of the forums.

If you click on the submission, you can edit it. (only the submitter can). Delete the contents of the submission, and the CKA code will delete it.

For future reference, I notice it's gone now. :)
