Just much of other people's money will Ezra have to waste this time before he realises that Canadians don't want Fox News north?

Maybe Sun is getting out of the way for FOX News Canada.

Unless those blonde commentators are naked, that'll fly like a lead balloon, as well. Why bother with a Canadian Faux when we have the American one yapping at us from so many border stations?

xerxes @ Tue Feb 17, 2015 10:46 am

Not even the border stations. I get it with my cable package along with CNN and msnbc. Though msnbc and Fox News are only in standard def giving me even less incentive to watch either.

There's also a growing number of Canadians subscribing to DISH Network and paying their bills via intermediaries who have PO boxes in the USA.

Those folks are getting 150 HD channels for less than $100 a month.

US courts wouldn't (past tense 13.1 is dead) need to be involved.
AFAIK server locations was never really an issue in any CHRC tribunals.

This guy will have about as much luck as the guy who wanted piracy to become "taboo" in Canada.

Enjoy subsisting on the fringes of legitimacy, Ezra.

From the sound of the last sentence in the vid he is planning something in the mode of Glenn Beck's Blaze network. That's still my guess anyway.

So if correct, what would that look like?

I would hope he's going to do what Beck did, and precede what follows with a quality website dedicated to giving you the news the fishwrap media won't.

After that would come a streaming 24/7 online video network available by subscription.

From there he reaches out to things like satellite TV, or a cable network. Apparently Beck tried to buy Gore's network, but they wouldn't sell to him. Gore claimed the Hamas backers of Qatar followed and ideology more compatible with his own. Something like that anyway.

In general though, the Beck method seems to be working for the Blaze network so far.

It's sure working for me, because I never hear about that dildo anymore at all.

No you wouldn't. The prod-pod networks will make sure you don't. You sure heard about it quick when Sun went under though, didn't you? You heard about it when Beck left Fox.

So what does that tell you about how Beck's doing now? Common sense would tell you his method must be working good, or you'd hear about it from your group think media.

I know Beck's been hiring lately. He hired Dana Loesch recently, so apparently he can afford quality now.

There's got to be a better name than 'prog-epicentre'.

Prog-hole is a possibility. Then we can call people 'prog-holes'...and I might do that anyway! :D

I know. Did you click the vid in the OP of this one?

It shows you how the Morlock media was making sure you Eloi realized all hope was gone as far as hearing the news you'd never been allowed to hear before Sun.

The Canada's progressive Media went bezerk trying to get that story out.
