There is more to it than the instructions given. The ends to an AT4 are somewhat ambiguous- it's not like a gun where you have an obvious stock and muzzle. After the part that reads "Aim towards enemy," there is an arrow and it points- that's what you aim towards the enemy.

It's the truth the US has put many of odd and goofy things on there equiptment.

Claymore Mine: on the front of the mine it says "FRONT TOWARD ENEMY"

M-72 rocket launcher comes with instructions on how to use it on the side of the tube.

In my experience, Air Weapons Systems technician do not run much. Even when faced with an incident which could lead to accidental dismemberment. It's as if watching an unintended detonation at close range might be a war story they could recount endlessly at the JR mess.

However, if you do see an Armourer driving away from you at a VERY high rate of speed, two equally disturbing possibilities emerge,

A. - You are in the blast zone and are about to die, and/or,
B. - He is about to miss last call.

The "bomb tech" is referring to EOD, not Air Wpns.

GunPlumber @ Sun May 08, 2005 3:28 pm

same diff in the Air Force, as only AWS can be selected to become EOD.
