Should be an interesting turn of events. One thing's for sure, you can count on Iranian, Saudi Arabian, Israeli and US leaders to all lie their faces off about it.
As much as the Republicans abhor this agreement, there is the same conservative faction in Iran as well. The Republican Guard likely represents those interests.

The White House this morning issued numerous denials that any ship at all had been seized. Meanwhile thousands of people logged on to Live Ships to see the seizure writ large in the ship's course and position.
Lying in this age of information is not a good idea.

Or demand that if they find any cargo ship of any flag off the BC coast listing like that and it ignores orders to head for the closest Canadian port to fire on it and seize it before its not just an effigy of Harper that gets bashed with hammers in Vancouver.

Paul Martin's old trick from his CSL days. Register Canadian ships elsewhere so they don't pay any Canadian taxes or have to have any Canadian laws protecting the guys crewing the ships.
That's a worldwide thing.
Yeah, but Martin even registered the friggin' lake boats overseas. They couldn't safely traverse the ocean but we're supposed to believe they're Liberian freighters or something with "Canada Steamship Lines" emblazoned along either side of the bow? He was a goof.
