Some of you have heard in various posts that I would soon be
commissioned into the Canadian Army Reserve.

Meet the newest member of
'C' Company, 1st Battalion, Nova Scotia Highlanders (North)

DEO, Officer Cadet... post BMQ 2nd LT.

Today is my 1-month in anniversary and tomorrow will
be my 1st Remembrance Day in uniform.

I've been issued an Infantry Cap Badge, solely to differentiate me from the enlisted in the BMQ coming up at the Armoury... I have been told I will be issued my balmoral and Highlanders Badge following BMQ completion in April... When I officially become 2LT. I will not, however, receive my kilt until I complete my summer courses... [B-o]

you can't tell from this shot, but at 6'5" 250 lbs, they could not issue me my full kit as my size was in issue... ;) haha :rock:

officer cadets were always fun....to use as slave labour, or get a salute from.

Congrats and the first thing you should learn about the military is that, when it comes to clothing "one size fits all". 8O
