You shouldn't be dissin' on Sammy Hagar! ;)

Sammy Hagar, Michael Anthony, Joe Satriani, and Chad Smith = Chickenfoot, and I'd have given my left testicle to see them in concert. Loved their album. :)

Thanos Thanos:
but I remember things that happened a long time ago like it was yesterday but. In general, I can't remember what I had for lunch two days ago. It is what it is. Early-onset dementia or not I really don't care anymore.

Nahh, I have pretty much the same. I wonder why I can remember lyrics to
crap like 'Wildfire' and 'Sweet Caroline', despite not hearing them for probably 30 years now.
Brain makes room for that, and yet 1999 to 2010 is just a blur.

Jabberwalker Jabberwalker:
The best one was the Pink Floyd

I camped out for 3 days for tickets in '87 I think, fell asleep and when I woke up 30 minutes
after the box opened, sold out. Bastards.
Scalpers got me good for that one.

Deep Purple in 1984, Perfect Strangers tour.
Walked in sober, with 3 packs of smokes. Walked out drunk, high as a kite, and no smokes.
Kim Mitchell around the same time, might have been at Wonderland

PublicAnimalNo9 PublicAnimalNo9:
And KISS? Let me tell you something, besides their concerts being absolutely amazing, you haven't heard a concert crowd ROAR until you've heard KISS play "Detroit Rock City" at the Joe Louis Arena. The place goes abso-f*cking-lutely bananas.

Oh, been there. No one rocks it like Detroit.
They went nuts for Bob Seger too.
Man, life in Windsor was pretty good. :)

The Alice Halloween shows were great too..

BartSimpson BartSimpson:
December 18, 1983: Blue Oyster Cult at the Sacramento Memorial Auditorium.

Good Lord Bart, I am lucky if I can get the city and the decade right.
Never saw BOC, wanted too though.

Plant in 1988 or 89 in Montreal, everyone just shouting for Led Zep songs.

Sturgis in 1993 was Foghat and Molly Hatchet and I dont remember who else.
I did Laconia in New Hampshire in 1992, but I only remember the moose story from that trip.

Lynyrd Skynyrd in '97 in Vancouver.

Seen Deep Purple again in various incarnations in Europe, but I don't do the big shows anymore.

Some of the best fun was at the Pioneer Club in Montreal in the 90's.
Saw John Kay and Steppenwolf, Meatloaf when he was rebuilding his career, and a
Zeppelin tribute band, the guitarist was note perfect from the original.
All in a bar, good times.

I still have my ticket stub to that concert! It's the last concert I ever attended without ear protection!

Stéphane Grappelli circa 1980 was a good one, too.
