Godz46, I have been reading the forums on Canadaka for a while now, and it always seems to be you who starts trouble for everyone else, Now you have every right to look for and read any article you can find on the internet, but why do you feel the need to post them here and get everyone sturred up? Our world has enough hate and ignorance in it already, there is really no need to add to it don't you agree? I would like to apologise in advance if you take this as a personal attack on your character, I am just simply stating that, If we as humans want to evolve and better ourselves and each other, we should look for ways to encourage people and bring them together, not discourge them and break them apart.

I want to apologize to Godz46 for calling him a "degenerate fuck" and a "piece of shit". Upon sobering up, and reading what I posted, I think that I may have been unfair and retaliatory. There was no excuse for that kind of behaviour, and I'm sorry.
Having said that, I want Godz to actually do some research and link some documentation to support this wild accusation that our government has been soft on sex offenders.

In the USA, the age of consent is a state matter, so it could change frequently. At this time, the states of Iowa and Missouri have ages of consent the same as Canada...most of the rest of the country has an age of consent of 16, yet the legal drinking age is 21.
This site states that in the US, the number of offences in 2001 was 386, 000, and most were committed in California.

Over 40% have a history of arrests as juveniles
Education/Employment History
4 out of 5 sex offenders had less than Grade 12 and 1/2 had less than grade 10.
more than 50% were found to be unstable in their employment pattern
65% were unskilled labourers
2 out of 3 sex offenders had relied on social assistance
Family History
The majority of sex offenders (60%) had been separated from their biological parents before age 16.
Of those separated from their biological parents, 1/3 had been placed in child welfare agencies and training schools
More than 1/3 of the sex offenders reviewed had been abused (physical abuse or emotional neglect) by their parent(s) and/or primary caregiver(s) before the age of 16 years.
More than 1/2 of the sex offenders' parent/primary caregiver(s) were reported to have had alcohol/drug problems, 8% had psychiatric problems and 6% had criminal histories.
Sexual Abuse
1/3 of sexual offenders reviewed had been sexually abused before the age of 16.
Among those abused, more than 3/4 had been abused by males, 1/4 had been abused by authority figures and 1/3 had experienced physical aggression by a sexual abuser.
Mental Health
1/3 of sex offenders reviewed had suffered severe emotional problems prior to the current offence.
