Should all provincial government websites be bilingual..?

No.

If we are having the same language laws for all provinces, then I should be free to hang an english sign on my business in Montreal. Otherwise, every province should be free to do what it wants.

I support the idea that Canada declares itself 'Multilingual'. I think itwould go a long ways to determining where a language is being supported for a good reason, or its just patronage money being wasted on a political stage

IF you look closely at the Saskatchewan Government Website you will find that parts of it are in English and French. Perhaps it is a work in progress?

Federally, we waste billions on the pipe dream of bilingualism. I wish I could get accurate numbers but I really do not think they exist. While official estimates will only cover those funds allocated to the COL and disbursed for the intended purpose, all other departments do not account for language programs by line item but instead by program management costs. Think back years ago regarding reports of CF-18 manuals translated into French at a cost of millions of dollars.....and not used. Those expenses are not captured in department budgets. I could go on forever on most departments and those funds transferred to the provinces for French education. Extrapolate this waste across all federal departments, the provinces and the territories; the waste of my tax money is unprecedented and will continue unabated.

Bottom line is that the all levels of government, federal, provincial and municipal, have expended untold billions of dollars for what?
