Someone had mentioned the desire to purchase an old Divco truck and hot rod it... In case some of you are wondering what a Divco truck is here's a link to provide some history and info on this truck...

The site http://oldcarandtruckpictures.com is operated by an acquaintance of mine friend to whom I've donated a few photos to use... The Divco photos are not mine...
Would that not be a kewl truck to restor or what. It kind of reminds me this old museum in Rosetown Sask where they have a bunch of old Diamond T's and other service trucks.
My cousin had/has a couple of these that he was restoring in his shop in Edmonton several years ago. They got 'parked' in the back and may still be there. If memory serves me correctly, he had already put a new 350 powertrain in one of them. I can see if they are still around next trip into the city.
That was probably me, I had a buddy in High School who used to steal his Divco work truck at night and cruise us around in it.
Totally cool, you were more or less standing upright to drive, with only two pedals. Halfway down was clutch, the last half of travel was braking.
Here in BC it wouldn't be the Reactin Man, it would be the Bud Man though....
