Strutz Strutz:
I know you were watching the debate...

Music ran out awhile ago, but you are still connected. Are you still going to play some tunes tonight?

Oops... Give a moment.

Did you want to run some?

Strutz @ Wed Oct 03, 2012 7:45 pm

I dunno. Did lots of that earlier today like I mentioned so I kinda like just listening. Please do carry on as long as you like!

OH!!! While out doing errands today I happened upon this:

I went to the Phillips Brewery site to get a pic. I know you are a fan of their products so you must try it if you haven't already! I just opened it a little while ago and it is VERY different and quite tasty! [B-o]

Thanks. Tried it before and did not like at all. The only one of theirs that I was not a fan of.

That being said, this is back out today...

Yummy!

Ooooooo... Must try that one! Hermann's Dark Lager is a good one too, one of my faves.

here's a nice read and an even better drink from a CBC who has opened a microbrewery in Taiwan. I bought some of their honey lager at Costco, after trying a couple samples... and damn was it good. Unfortunately it only comes in 1 litre bottles. and two of them disappeared in a few hours.

What's unfortunate about that? Should there be a larger size?

I thought of that one after I'd gotten home and realized where this pumpkin one came from! Dammit! I remember you telling me about it. I'll get it at the same time I get that dark lager one. Have them written down.

$1:
In a brightly lit warehouse just outside of Taipei City, a bearded man with a slight belly proudly pours tap beer into a frosted glass, filling it to the brim. “I have gained nearly 20 kilograms since this brewery opened a decade ago,” said Quentin Yeh, raising the glass to his brows. “Consider this a new kind of occupational injury.”

“Our craft beer, unlike its filtered and pasteurized cousin that comes in cans, preserves the distinctive taste of yeast with a fresh finish,” he said.

According to the 33-year-old brewer-in-chief, filtering and heating can extend the shelf life of beer by up to six months—but the process also destroys the drink’s flavor and freshness. That is why Yeh refuses to process his drinks this way, and as a result all his artisan brews must be consumed within two weeks of production. They also have to be refrigerated at all times.

Well, if the regular listeners all copy and paste that link to their desktops...

Yeah, the banner was easier.
