Good old unbiased civil service.

I thought that it would have had to violate something.

I mean, that's just not something you do... Or you wouldn't think you can do...

It's a rude sentiment, to anyone.

ridenrain @ Wed May 27, 2009 9:39 pm

Lol. Come on.. Dion was obviously too stoned to function.

ShepherdsDog @ Wed May 27, 2009 9:43 pm

like that was the straw that broke the Liberals back

ridenrain @ Wed May 27, 2009 9:50 pm

It's not like they didn't give him numerous chances to get it right.

One more time...

Oh, obviously. It was a rather idiotic incident. I don't have sympathy for Dion here, I have dissent for the lack of respect.

Showing something one would assume to be a de facto private thing is really just rude to do to a man.

why would an interview be viewed as private?

"If you were prime minister now, what would you have done about the economy and this crisis that Mr. Harper has not done?"

I'm not sure exactly how this is complicated. Maybe he could of just not said "now" and then just answered.

The errors in an interview, one would believe when they said "start over", the tape would be burned.

It's confusing because the interviewer uses two different tenses in the same question.

$1:
If you were prime minister now, what would you have done about the economy and this crisis that Mr. Harper has not done?

I’m far more concerned with the supposed unbiased position of the media.
As much as I disliked Dion, the station made a promise not to use the clips. I doubt the clips had any effect on Dion’s ousting from the leadership of the Liberals either. It was an unprofessional act.

Wally_Sconce @ Thu May 28, 2009 11:02 am

was it an unproffessional act to release the audio tape of Christian Bale's 7 minute rant?

romanP @ Thu May 28, 2009 11:13 am

What does Christian Bale have to do with Canadian Parliament?

Who said that he did?
