Syrian refugee opens artisan soap shop in Calgary
$1:
Abdul Fatah Sabouni's last name means soap maker. It's what his family has been doing for generations.
So, when he and his family came to Canada as refugees from Syria two years ago, he knew he wanted to keep doing what he does best.
"I can work 20 hours a day. I don't get tired about that, because I love my job," Sabouni told CBC News Saturday at the grand opening of his new soap store, Aleppo Savon.

More taxpayers funded propaganda brought to you by the CBC.
Does it trigger you to see a Refugee doing well for himself?
Oh, I get it!
The CBC provides free nation-wide advertizement services to small businesses!

Ha, I just happen to care more about Canadians who don't get the same free ride like refugees do unlike some Leftist Triggered Snowflakes.

They don't get a free ride, then end up contributing more to Canada than they ever receive while they are getting their life here in order.
This guy proves it. He'll contribute more in tax and employment than it cost to bring him here so he could start a small business.
And the only one triggered here was you.

Starting your own business and working 20 hours a day is “free ride”? The only triggered snowflake here is you. You’re probably just mad because a Syrian refugee who just arrived here has already accomplished more than you have in your entire life.

Cleaning one Albertan at a time... damn soap terrorists!!!

Proof by example fallacy.
Fail, you just fail.
You will never read it on the CBC, but in Europe, the 'syrian refugee / economic migrants / free entry for terorrists' employment rate
is less than 10%.
While they still get full bennies, costing tens of billions every year.

You are using that term wrong. "Inappropriate Generalization" fallacy involves equating examples that are not relevant to the context.
A self employed Syrian refugee as a reflection of other Syrian Refugees employment statuses is directly in context.

We aren't in Europe. Welfare benefits for refugees in Canada ran out a year ago.
And how about the Globe, since you break out in hives at CBC links?

Research shows refugees eventually catch up with their Canadian-born counterparts in the labour market, she noted. Among Vietnamese refugees who came to Canada in the late 1970s, the unemployment rate is now 2.5 percentage points lower than the rate of those born in Canada. "They're highly successful," she said, adding that this bodes well for the Syrian cohort.

$1:
A large majority of immigrants to Alberta integrate into the workforce within a few years of landing, new data from Statistics Canada show.
According to the data — compiled from administrative, immigration and tax records up to the 2014 tax year — around 60 per cent of refugees that landed in 2014 had employment income.
However, that number grows to about 80 per cent for those who had been in the province for a year.
"That's right where the typical non-refugee person is too," said Trevor Tombe, an economist at the University of Calgary.
The numbers do not not include refugees who started their own businesses or had self-employment income.
They also do not take into account the economic downturn or the influx of Syrian refugees into the province that began in late 2015.

Wow, racist much? Remember the discussion we had about how these Syrians were largely professionals; doctors, lawyers, engineers?

I don't care about Germany. We've had this discussion before too. Germany and Syria are joined by land. Anyone can walk from Syria to Germany, if they are determined enough. But to get to Canada, you have to fly, at the very least. That means security checks. Not just anyone can get here, and the number that get smuggled here are minor in comparison.
Germany got the ones who saw the free handout. We took the ones that made us stronger. There is no comparison. Don't chide me about "proof by example" and then continue to use it again and again!

You are truly an idiot if you think those illegals 'walked'.
