Goodfellas was a great flick, then again just about any mob movie is great! The Untouchables, Casino, Godfather. Scarface was a good one. I noticed Goldeneye mentioned; I love all of the Bond movies - but Sean Connery is the best of the bunch. The Indiana Jones trilogy, the Lord of the Rings trilogy. For comedies, Old School, Caddyshack, Stripes any Monty Python film. Saving Private Ryan, Apocolypse Now, Full Metal Jacket, Platoon...

The list of great films could go on and on. :)

Ya know, one thing I noticed in this thread, and I'm as guilty of it as anyone, I don't see any Canadian films listed. Yes, many of these films have Canadian actors and actresses, maybe directors, but not a real made in Canada movie.(and I just don't mean filmed here) Sad how our own media get drowned out by outside sources. I've seen Canuck films that were very good, but I can't even think of a title of one. Kind of sad really.

For Canadian films how about Men With Brooms, Duct Tape Forever or Strange Brew?? I'm pretty sure that all three should fit as Made in Canada films!

:D

Men With Brooms was pretty funny. Not really a movie but I thought The Last Chapter and The Last Chapter 2 where good. About a week ago I watched "Escape From Iran: The Canadian Caper" was well done. Wasn't to thrilled about "October". Saw that a couple days ago. Then again any film made by a man simpathetic to the FLQ probably isn't going to do much for me.

Good Canadian film? Brain Candy by Kids in the Hall. Most films from Hollywood are filmed in Canada, so we can say that almost every movie made today is Canadian. What about the Score with Robert DiNero. It took place in Montreal.
My favourite move is probably Braveheart. I just saw The Big Lebowski and it was great.
