Thanos Thanos:
Hopefully the prosecutors are diligent enough to only go with the strongest cases if charges are laid. It would be a massive embarrassment and let the fucker off the hook, like happened with Bill Cosby (or with Jian Ghomeshi), if they lose a case because one of the accusers turns out to be a nut herself or just some garden-variety liar looking to cash in on the spectacle.

The woman who accused old man Bush of gropping her that blew up in her face and it's those type of accusations that could damage the credibility of real victims coming forward. This is where law enforcement and the media have a responsibility just as Rose McGowan now does because calling out other people in Hollywood could damage prosecutuions as a good defence lawyer could say their client's rights were violated in a social media witch hunt.

Word is out that the hammer is about to drop next on comedian Louis CK who, despite his own history of harassment and assault, had to gall to make a movie about men behaving badly towards women. The dominoes continue to fall.......

Harvey Weinstein 'handed investigators a secret hit-list of almost 100 people who had knowledge of sexual assault allegations against him'

Weinstein had allegedly created a 91-person list of sexual assault accusers to silence
Investigators would glean information on who had knowledge of allegations and if they intended to go public, it is claimed
Among those on the reported list are Rose McGowan, Sophia Dix, and Annabella Sciorra
Also allegedly on the list is producer Brett Ratner who has been accused by several women himself of sexual assault

Disgraced movie mogul Harvey Weinstein allegedly had a secret 'hit list' of nearly 100 actors, publicists and producers as part of a strategy to silence his sexual assault accusers.

Weinstein had created a 91-person list to discover what they knew about sexual harassment and assault claims involving the filmmaker and if they intended to go public, reported The Guardian.

The document was allegedly compiled in early 2017 and distributed to a team complied by the producer around nine months before The New York Times broke the first story about the allegations against Weinstein.

Individuals would reportedly be targeted by investigators who would glean information on who had information about allegations, and then feedback was relayed back to Weinstein and his lawyers.

The list - a section of which was published by The Guardian - contains the names of several actresses and employees who have since come forward to accuse Weinstein of preying on them, including Rose McGowan and Laura Madden.

Although at least 10 individuals are based in London, the majority live in New York, with others from Los Angeles. They include individuals working in acquisitions, marketing and distribution, along with producers, publicists and human resources staff, as well as actors. Forty-three men are named and 48 women.

How Harvey made Hollywood COMPLICIT: Web of deceit spun by Weinstein that ensnared everyone from Disney to Hillary (and his assistants who fetched him penile injections) is laid bare in report that will shame ALL of Tinseltown

Harvey Weinstein 'had agents, journalists, private investigators, film executives, assistants, and lawyers help him cover up decades of alleged sexual misconduct'
Disgraced movie mogul used 'fear, intimidation, and psychological warfare' to dissuade women and others from revealing damaging information about him
Weinstein reportedly had the National Enquirer dig up unflattering stories about Rose McGowan, the actress who accused him of rape
He also reportedly bragged to other women he was trying to seduce that they needed to sleep with him to help their careers
Gwyneth Paltrow, who says she spurned Weinstein's advances when he came on to her in a hotel room, told her agent, who did not pursue the matter
Lena Dunham told the New York Times that she twice warned Hillary Clinton's campaign not to associate with Weinstein due to his behavior with women
Weinstein's former assistant says she was asked to fetch penile injections for him so that he could treat his erectile dysfunction before his meetings with women

You couldn't post the original NYT article? Its a real doozy.

Its like Weinstein was a wannabe J Edgar Hoover or Beria or the head of the Stasi. Utterly staggering though is the amount of complicity there was to cover for him.

Here's a closeted gay Republican Oklahoma state senator who got busted for hooking up with a 17yo boy at a motel.

Republican Senator Ralph Shortey was found in a motel room with a 17-year-old boy

Police released body cam footage of the night a Republican Senator was found in a motel room with a 17-year-old boy he met off Craigslist.

The release of the footage, shot in March, came just days after former Sen. Ralph Shortey, 35, pleaded guilty to federal child sex trafficking last week. As a result of his plea deal, child pornography charges were dropped

On March 9, police went to a Super 8 Motel for a welfare check.
After seemingly getting dressed, Shortey answered the door in a religious tee, which is printed with a bible verse Ephesians 5:22 (which references women submitting to their husbands) in addition to the phrase, "now go make me a sandwich.”

'I burst out crying': 'Heartbroken' Mira Sorvino and Ashley Judd respond to Peter Jackson's confirmation that Harvey Weinstein blacklisted them and stopped both from starring in Lord of the Rings because they rejected him

Mira Sorvino tweeted in response to Jackson's admission earlier this week
The actress previously claimed she was harassed by Weinstein in 1995
In an interview in The New Yorker in October, she said he ruined her career because she rebuffed him
Judd, in an interview with The New York Times, made similar accusations
She claimed she was accosted by Weinstein in 1997 and then blacklisted because she rejected him
Jackson wanted both women to be considered for Lord of the Rings in 1998
He said Weinstein vetoed them both and told him they were difficult to work with
Jackson took his advice but said this week that he believes he had been misled
The New Zealand director said Weinstein, 65, behaved like a 'Mafia boss' during the early stages of the production
