Thanos Thanos:
Yeah, that was about the first time in the last ten years I actually enjoyed a Jason Statham movie. That one was oddly well-made and fun from beginning to end.

Agreed. I think it was his best movie. Lots of action, but he actually acted and played a part well instead of just shooting everything.

Once again, Netflix seems to make a good film by accident.

Thanos Thanos:
Awake was interesting but fairly poor in execution. Concept was that something cosmic happened that scrambled everyone's brains so they couldn't get to sleep, with chaos & mayhem erupting inside of a few days as relentless & incurable sleep deprivation began to cause insanity and eventual. Basically a new take in the extinction event genre. Thing is they didn't explain it very well and it became a fair large plot hole that tainted the entire movie. Good actors and an interesting idea, just bad direction and scripting. Deserved better than what resulted.

I agree with most others now. Awake and Birdbox confirms that Netflix is just really bad at these kinds of movies. Shame actually that they can't do better than Shudder does, and Shudder has about a tenth of the budget that Netflix has, with what should be a slam-dunk exploitation of a very popular and profitable genre.

I agree that most of their horror movies fall flat, but they've done pretty well with horror series like Black Summer, Santa Clarita Diet, and Kingdom.

Sometimes I think Netflix would do better to focus on series instead of films, but with so many companies launching their own streaming services, they probably don't have a choice.

Not Netflix but who cares. I can only imagine how much the mere existence of this show is going to piss Fiddy off.

Holy fuck - if you like zombies, you NEED to watch Black Summer season 2 on Netflix.

Great action, terrifying zombies, shocking deaths, it's light years better than The Walking Dead.

Torrented and binged it this past week. Absolutely terrific, and much more compact & cohesive than the first season (which was still pretty good itself BTW). It's still very difficult to believe that something this good and genuinely apocalyptic is an offspring of something as ridiculous as Z-Nation.

"Hot Girls Wanted: Turned On"

This reminds me why I don't watch porn on the internet. It goes behind the scenes of how porn is made, and the people behind it.

Hate modern porn, I'd rather read Histoire d'O than watch that crap.

I remember having a blast going to see "The Best of the New York Erotic Film Festival" with a bunch of Uni friends (guys and gals) in a Sherbrooke theatre in 1973.

I like Erika Lust's scandanavian accent. [drool] That's all the porn I need.

Documenting the first all civilians in orbital space.

As far as Billionaires go, this guy looks like one of the nicer ones.

I watched Army of Thieves (prequel to Army of the Dead), and it was pretty good, although the zombie bits seemed a bit forced.
