At least my 8yo son likes stuff like Mythbusters, Dirty Jobs, How It's Made, etc.

I basically watch whatever I can get online since I don't have a TV, and even if I did I wouldn't pay for cable. Most TV today sucks... I'm still watching Seinfeld, for chrissakes!

TV is pretty shite really.

He likes exploring? That Caillou?
And Toopy and Binoo are nothing more than dumbed-down Calvin and Hobbes knock-offs. Toopy dreams up the scenarios that he and Binoo actually explore, he's got a superiority complex and he jumps to conclusions. Binoo is the stuffed animal come to life that's calm and reserved to Toopy's hyperactive insufferability.
Damn, Toopy's even got a horizontal red-striped shirt just like Calvin.

I read online a while back that what skews ratings are PVRs and torrents. Even when they factor in PVRs, advertisers don't care because people just fast-forward through the commercials so it's of no benefit for them.
It's primarily what's affected Lost. People PVR it so they can watch American Idol live. It hasn't lost (whee!) any viewers, just live viewers.
Also, (SPOILER ALERT) did it seem like they just dropped the answer to the Whispers like a rock from the sky?

I hate both shows but I reckon I've seen every episode now! The question was 'What TV shows are you watching', not 'What Tv shows do you like'!

When I was a teenager, my nephew lived with us and I was no stranger to Nick Jr.
I can't tell you how many episodes of Blues Clues I have seen. Or Bob the Builder.
He was also addicted to the Disney movie 'Tarzan', which he literally watched once a day for about a year. I have seen it over 100 times and I hate it.
