Just saying to someone they needs to better themselves to archive isn't enough. Some need a leg up to get over that basic hurdle to start with.
Ambition is all they need.
Ambition only gets you so far.
Yeah, sometimes you still have to get off your fat lazy ass and actually work.
What a system we have, really sucks.

That is what I hear a lot from people who have an easy road. There are a lot of things that are extremely difficult in life and when they come at a person one after another it is easy to get beaten down - I've seen some really smart people work really hard and never succeed...then I've seen people who claim bankruptcy, get their spouse to start another company in the same business and 'get a job' running said company & make a mint while never having to pay the money owed, borrowed, stolen, etc. from the initial venture. Then the biggest 'I did it by hard work' types seem to usually be the ones who just had it handed to them.
It's always nice to hear that sense of entitlement from rich folk though! (I'm not saying that you are necessarily in that category)
