Since it was so easy, you'd better try fly fishing next time. Always more of a challenge, you need to try and chose flies that look like the bugs that are in season, so it's an interesting way to get to know your environment and the seasons.

I like to cook fresh caught fish by the river by filleting and then skewering on a twig, then sticking it into the ground so that it's leaning over the fire. If camping, I turn the head and bones into soup stock to eat with potatoes. BUT make sure the soup is boiling properly - I once made myself seriously ill when camping, by keeping the soup lukewarm near the fire for too long.... ughh i could barely stand for days.
