Already it's week #1 of the 2022 season. Looks like it will be a normal season, starting on-time for the first time since 2019. At last!
Just realized I meant to vote when I posted the thread.
It's 42-6 for BC right now over Edmonton at the start of the 2nd half...
Wow. I thought the Lions first game was unreal at 59-15 over Edmonton. Tonight it was 44-3 over Toronto.
I don't know who on here voted for Winnipeg but, wow, you do have a good team this year! My Lions, who were doing great, got beat by a team that definitely outplayed them yesterday, both offensively and defensively.
The CFL West conference has a weird edge over the East conference right now.
Not that apparently anyone cares but the season came to an end this weekend. Yet again, Winnipeg had an incredible year and will be by far the favourite to win the Grey Cup.
For now, the semi-final games are next week, Nov 6th
BC will host Calgary to determine who will play against Winnipeg for the West
Montreal will host Hamilton to determine who will play against Toronto for the East
Well, the semi-finals are done. Both were good games.
Montreal won so they will play against Toronto next Sunday for the Eastern final.
My BC Lions won so they will play against Winnipeg next Sunday for the Western final.
Well... as expected Winnipeg will play Toronto for the Grey Cup next Sunday.
I was really hoping for a BC-Montreal final (I'm a sucker for the underdogs, what can I say? LOL)
Toronto defeats Winnipeg 24-23 to win the Grey Cup.
That's all folks.
Can't say it was a dull game!
Wow, I have company in here now!
