When a friend was tested for health problems, she was asked " What drugs have you used" She said "Alcohol and pot." When asked if she had used hard drugs she said"No way." The tests showed cocaine, ecstacy, heroine, crystal meth, etc etc, which she was totally unaware of ever having taken.
She was told that the drug industry was adding those to pot they sell in order to get people hooked.
There are lot of people who many would consider health nuts, who light up joint after a workout , in the naive belief that they are smoking only pot.
How is it possible for people to smoke pot for decades, without government lifting a finger to warn them of what they are actually putting in their bodies ( while they carefully read the labels on a soup can)
There is absolutely no evidence of the claim that pot leads to other drugs. So what did the drug industry do? Add addicting drugs to make it true.
Anyone growing pot in small quantities in their own back yard, for their own use, is no one's business but their own. It's the international industry which is the problem. Killing their profits is the only viable solution.
Given that the stars and stripes solution has proven a total waste of time, money and lives, isn't it time the government ran TV adds, with a picture of a sleazy drug dealer, along with the question" Would you pay this guy to decide what goes in your body?" Buying anything from them is as dense as ordering prescription drugs over the internet, and putting them in one's body.
Informing people of this problem will undermine the value and consumption of smuggled pot, but also that of their addatives. The message is bound to spread rapidly by word of mouth, including across the border, should Uncle Sam disagree with the policy.
Suggest this to your MP and other elected reps.
Given how much freedom to cross borders, and spend our winters safely in Mexico these sleazebags have cost us, this is a good opportunity to give these sleazebags a swift kick in the balls ( and pocketbooks)
