I am going nowhere (thanks to my former American Overlords), but if I did, NS would be a good choice.

The only vacation I've taken in the last 10 years has been there, to the family homestead floating on the bay with a fishing rod in my hand. Best two weeks I've had.

If I go anywhere it will be back to Saskatchewan to visit relatives. That's always my vacation. They usually make me do hard labour but they buy the beer
& if I don't, I'd try to go to the queen charlotte islands:
HIGHLY reccommended. I have a cousin (sort of) who runs a fishing lodge there.

You have to love a place where you can walk on the beach, and catch up to 10 crabs a day per member of your household. All you need is a pot of boiling water.

I'd also suggest Whitehorse, in the spring or fall. The summer is ok, if you like no-see-ums
