Health calculators

You can calculate your own risk of hospitalization as well as your life expectancy by filling out a short online questionnaire created by Ontario researchers. Visit http://www.projectbiglife.ca

8) 8)

Life Expectancy 91.3 years
Largest risk is Diet
17 Days spent in the hospital

You consume about
1500 mg
of sodium per day

That's
15%
more than the recommended level of 1300 mg
but within the recommended maximum of 2300 mg for your age

83.9 years

Hmmmm.... ok I guess

DrCaleb @ Thu May 29, 2014 9:09 am

85.2, largest risk - Alcohol.

Longer than I thought, but not surprising. ;)

89.1 ... not bad but consistent with my genetics (which they don't ask about but that make a huge difference).

I quit smoking 25 years ago but it is still my biggest risk factor, apparently.

According to mine I should have died last year. 8O

Just kidding, 83.1, still got a few years left. 8)

91.4 here.

Only 1000mg of sodium/day. Still too much.

Regina @ Thu May 29, 2014 1:08 pm

The majority of my total salt intake was from the Italian sandwich meat I use 3 or 4 times a week for lunch. Think it said 30% of it......sheesh!
I'm just hoping my 17 days in hospital are my last 17 days.

That was one of the last battles I was in.

Good thing that the piddle in that puttee around your face saved you to cheer for Boston.

Let the jack tar explain it to the pongo...

You peed in the cloth wraps around your legs then wrapped it around your face during the gas attack. The fact you're still doing it in 2014 is beside the point.

Thanks, I thought it might be that but I have been a little doped up today. Rehab took a step back and required some pain killers earlier.
