Got another quirk.<br /> <br /> "Notify Me of Replies' is now checked by default, as "HTML mode" is unchecked. I couldn't find these in preferences, and if "Notify.." is unchecked in 'preview', it needs to be unchecked again before posting.<br /> <br /> But it's good to see the full page and thread now when previewing!

Getting all too much for me, I usualy just paste comments formulated and spell checked off line, if it aint simple it dont get done! I tried to edit "notify me of replys" out of the last three posts without success, now getting all kinds of emails that I dont want, I hope you are on top of that one. No more postings from me untill you get it fixed, not that anyone would notice! Long ago 1 asked for a tutorial on EXACTLY how to use all the bells buttons and whistles but I gess Im just considered a dumb old hick from the country because its not obvious to me.

okay, tracked down and fixed the checkbox issues; notify should now be defaulting to off (or whatever your preferences are set to).
As well, the text/html mode checkbox should act as expected now.

Thanks Jessie, Im sure you are busy. However (Sorry got to call em like I see em) the Page one bug continues and is now (at least on the Seperate.... thread) worse, in trying to go back and edit my post to eliminate emails I was unable to get to page one even when clicking on the title (the usual work around). Please have a look when you get time.

I have no idea what bug you are talking about; all of my "page 1" links work just fine. If you have previously reported it, please provide a link to the bug report; otherwise, please provide a detailed bug report here.

Sorry JESSE, the bug was first reported here http://www.vivelecanada.ca/forum/viewto ... opic=15409 and confirmed by DR C so its not just me. In case it is OS related Im using Win 2000 and IE 6.2 abnd Vive defaults.<br /> The problem is inconsistant and seems more prelevent in longer threads. Clicking 0n "1" or "first" goes to page 2 and in the thread mentioned even clicking on the thread title went to page 2 (this usualy works to get to page 1 even when 1 and first dont.

I still see the bug Jesse. Go to any thread with multiple pages. Eg: "Seperat....ism" Use the front page sidebar link to get there.<br /> <br /> It will take me to Michou's post on page 2. Click on "1". I still see Michou's post. Click on "First". Still Michou's post. Click on "Previous". Still page 2.<br /> <br /> I have to click on "Home"->"Separatism" and click on the word/link "Seperat....ism" to see page 1 and the first post by James Sorrel.<br /> <br /> I see it in ethier XP/Firefox or Win2k/Firefox or FedoraCore5/Mozilla.<br /> <br /> The only difference in the URL's is the "&lastpost=true". While that is there, page 1 cannot be seen. Once I click on the link that shows me page 1, I can use the other links to move between page 1 & 2 freely.<br />

That's with firefox should it help any.
