You didn’t happen to note down the text of the error message that it gave you, did you?

Which version of Windows is on your computer? Which version of Internet Explorer do you use?

Have you tried visiting Vive using a different browser on your computer, e.g. Firefox (4.9 MiB) or Opera (3.7 MiB)?

Has anyone else experienced this? I can't imagine anything that would cause it, other than your standard Microsoft Internet Explorer(TM) instability.
other than your standard Microsoft Internet Explorer(TM) instability.
I think you misspelled 'Internet Exploder'

I haven't had it happen, but I do use Mozilla 1.7.x on Windows XP Pro or Fedora Core 5.

I will write it down the next time it happens Brother Jonathan.

Ok, refrain from laughing at me but I am still operating on 98. I have x/p but didn't install it because I hate change and I heard there were a lot of problems with it. My husbands computer has x/p so maybe that's why it doesn't happen on his.

But it's just odd that it only happens on this site.

These can make IE unstable, and crash.

If you do upgrade to XP, be sure to download all the paches for it first (http://windowsupdate.microsoft.com or download.microsoft.com), put them on a CD and do not connect your computer to the internet until all patches are at their newest level. An unpatched system has about 4 minutes before it's hijacked.

And the error will certainally help us to figure out the problem.

Me, laugh? I’m still running Windows 98 SE myself! However, I only use Internet Explorer for Windows Update and two applications that depend upon ActiveX; Firefox is what I use for most of my browsing. As long as I don’t open a few dozen tabs simultaneously, it doesn’t crash.

Since you don’t get the crash when you go through your ISP account, do you know if there are any programs that get closed by going through the ISP account?

(If you press Ctrl Alt Delete, the Close Program menu that pops up will show you a list of what you’ve got running. Try pressing it in Internet Explorer, once when you’re going through your ISP account and once when you’re not. Are there any differences between the lists?)
