That was an awesome game to watch between Vancouver and Edmonton last night. Of course, I liked the result, but still an entertaining one as both teams are looking good this season.

I almost started a 2020 World Junior thread but there seems to be almost no interest in the NHL thread so I decided not to bother. I've missed almost all the games due to working while they're on (damn time difference!) but I'm off tomorrow for the game that counts the most!

Russia was mocking Canada, saying playing them was like playing Latvia.
Even our future Canuck, Podkolzin, was mocking the Canadian junior star Lafreniere - saying he was nothing. There were five forwards on the Russian team better than him.

It's like these Scandinavian zebras are determined to keep calling penalties on Canada until their Russian buddies score. 4 penalties in a row. Canada can't get their offence guys on the ice to score.
And these russians are such drama queens. If a stick or a body check comes anywhere near them they're doubling up or diving to the ice. Such girls.
Canada's penalty kill hanging tough though. We've seen this act before. Go Canada.
