Canada Kicks Ass

Hey, Ive been know to cheer for Andrettis and Unsers when they were racing against Canadians too. Sports tend to cloud our judgement at times. ;) My big confession is that I, born on the Canadian prairies, don't care about hockey at all and never learned how to skate.

I have a confession too, I love hockey, but I hate the fact that so much of it has been hijacked, now we have Nike taking over, aren't there any Canadian Hockey Players interested in this, after all they are all making mega bucks couldn't they buy these companies? Like Gretsky heading south, I realize that wasn't his decision, but these guys have to know this stuff is going on, why don't they want to protect this Canadian sport and the jobs that go with it?

Compare the salaries for CFL players to NFL players... there's more money to ba made south of the border. Unfortunately for everyone that loves hockey, the NHL will never become a challenger to NASCAR/NBA/NFL like the league management thinks it will...

As much as I like Hockey. I'm hoping for a NHL lockout. Bobby Hull already has in the works a league which will replace the NHL. A alternative for hockey lovers. I think its called WHL part 2 or something like that. Haven't found any websites with info yet.

They had already worked on signing some NHL players who retired. Corson was one of them, accept he just recently signed back with the NHL for a year.

I think with how the NHL is out of hand and its become hard for Canadian teams to operate successfully. I think this WHL can be a good way to get Canadian hockey the way it was. From what I know so far there is already 6 Canadian teams in this new league.
