She forgot to mention that it also encourages people to wear green.

   

People dressed in green getting totally wasted, doing stupid things, puking their guts up... and they still call it "pride".

   

I don't get too wound up about any ethnic celebration, but a piss-up in the middle of March, I'm all behind an idea like that.
