I mean I don't know if we're even disagreeing about anything here.
As for the rest of your comments, you don't have to be a chicken to know what an egg is, you don't have to be black to know the N word is generally considered an offensive term
There are a couple of conservatives on this site who BRAG about using that word to describe black people they don't like -Obama especially- and their excuse is the same as the comments you posted: "it's acceptable when black people say it so I should be allowed say it too." THATS why I interjected ...to clarify it's actually not acceptable.

FFS, Bill Maher said nothing wrong the Left needs to pick their battles instead of jumping on every damn thing.

Yeah, it's a bad word, but I think HBO has more guts than ABC, and won't even consider cancelling Maher's show like ABC did, especially given that Maher apologized already.
