Yep, lewy bodies dementia. Sometimes considered "the saddest of the dementias" because of how aware they sometimes are of something wrong happening to them, how much it fluctuates, and how sudden it can be...

I figure a few of you have seen and dealt with this sort of moment in person. I can't imagine.
