NO DOUBT IT WILL BE "EDITED" LIKE MY EARLIER POSTS OF THE SAME CONTENT....LIKE THIS VIVE...REALLY ILLUMINATING :: ))
You forgot to close your /quote tag. The result is, your post is blank. Never attribute to malice what can be more easily attributed to stupidity. Do you really think editors are here 24/7 just waiting to delete your posts? Do you really think that we can edit a post within 3 seconds of your submitting it?

I fixed them for you. You apology is accepted.

As Susan pointed out and I believe Kory will agree with me, Moderating is tough. We do not 'edit' posts, although we can (as above!). We do not edit stories, except for the odd spelling mistake or malformed URL. We try to keep our own bias out of which stories we approve, and we basically allow free reigh within the limits of the FAQ in the forums.

Sorry to break my own rules and making this personal, but you have been making a right pain in the ass of yourself lately. If you don't want a discussion toward making Canada better, why are you here?

I wholly agree that the link to the Frasier Institute is just plain wrong. Ever since they started condoning private ownership of all of Canada and it's resources, I have declared them the enemy. The resources of Canada are wholly owned - by the people of Canada. Transferering ownership of those resources to private corporations is wrong, and I will fight that wth every ounce of my being.

But the link to them is still on the front page, is it not? And no, I did not approve the link, another editor did. And no, I will not remove it, although I can.
I approved the link to the Fraser Institute, because:

- it'll make people complain a lot less about bias
- If you want to see good examples of the threats to canadian sovereignty, TFI is a good place to start.
- any arguments about "giving them more traffic" are bunk; if people are going to visit them, they will regardless of it we link them or not.
- just because they won't link to us doesn't mean we have to stoop to such schoolyard tactics; we can be the bigger person, show our magnanimity, and add the link.

And Civiltech, if we were really that upset about what you were posting, we could delete your account entirely, as detailed in our FAQ about acceptable content. Quit complaining about paranoid censorship conspiracies and spend your time posting constructive comments instead. Jeez.
So, I brought this up at our board meeting on Sunday and we decided it was time to come up with a definitive links policy and post it the FAQ. However, we want YOUR input to make this fair and democratic. So we've posted a new poll with every option we could think of for the links policy and the majority vote will take it.

PLEASE take a moment to vote, since your votes will determine the final links policy for the site. The poll is on the right hand menu, esp on the main page.
