Lately every time that I try to rep a post that I like, I get the same old message about having to spread my points around before repping the same person again. That may have been fine and dandy back in the day when we had more people posting here. Back then I COULD spread my points around as there were many more posts from different people for me to like. Nowadays how many people do we have that show up on a daily basis? 10 maybe? If we are lucky. That would be a busy day. I honestly cannot remember the last time that I was allowed to rep someone. It has to be going on a year or better now. I don't think that I should have to rep something that I disagree with just to reset the clock here. There has to be a better way. Perhaps lower the number of people that that we rep before we can rep someone again, or as in my case let everything reset after so much downtime. I am pretty much stuck in rep limbo these days. No new members with new posts to rep, and I have pretty much repped everyone who is active today and can't rep them again until I "spread it around". If I could "spread it around" I would, but I can't.
Just a thought.
I've noticed that as well, and I support a new idea for being able to rep certain posters more often than not.

Us Mods don't have the super powers needed to change that. Only Trevor can.
Get rid of the rep system altogether. Replace it with voting via the magic of GIFs!

Works for me.
