In addition to going through Clancy's Jack Ryan books, I am also reading Robert's Rules of Order Revised and the Bible.

OK, I understand why you are reading the Clancy books, and the Bible, but why, if I may ask, are you reading Robert's Rules of Order?

For the most part I thought it was quite good. However, rather than starvation and the cold being the reason for the disappearance of HMS Erebus and Terror's crews, they are stalked by some sort of polar bear familiar after they kill an Inuit shaman.

Who's the protagonist? (I think I read this and was not terribly impressed)

Right now Crozier and Fitzjames are the two commanding officers.

A very good book that I first read when I was about 12 that I got from my Dad was called The Cruel Sea by Nicolas Monsarrat a great book about a small distoyer escort during convoy runs in the BAttle of the Atlantic.. excellent read.. The Compass Rose a flower class ship...I enjoy dusting a copy off once in a while and re reading it over again..I guess it also reminds me of my late Dad too who was Royal Navy during the war, and told me some stories of his time at sea...
