Wow, when I went to sleep last night Radio-Canada had announced Charest had lost. I think they made a mistake in Sherbrooke, they counted the anticipated votes after the "regular" ones, it changes nothing but did cause many people, like me, to wake up surprised.

On another subject, finally Quebec might see good leaders duke it out... Charest and Boisclair may both be gone by the next election and who knows who'd replace them? Personally, I'm dreaming for a Dumont/Couillard/Duceppe trio. That'd make things that much more interesting. And also decapitate the Bloc, which I honestly think shouldn't exist - it's probably best if it's weakened, even if that ends up giving the Cons nearly all of Quebec come the next federal elections.
