Oh goodness, it's funny to see the French Canadian media manipulates or simply disregard the facts.
TVA = Pro PQ (That includes kindergarden journalism.)
They kept showing a clip in which Pauline Marois commentating on the ADQ and Mario Dumont's salary from his political party. Yet, funny how they never mentioned that Andre Boisclair, at the time, received 120,000.00$ from the PQ.
Also, never mentioned the controversy regarding Pauline Marois's opulent family estate is built on expropriated land. And that they paid off someone to keep it quiet.
Also, we all know that she named her husband, Claude Blanchet, president of the SGF ''Société Générale de Financement''.
Her luxury toilet, Gaspesia and so on ...
Basically, she should not have anything to say about the other political parties (PLQ & ADQ) in QC. But it's so easy when she has friends at TVA protecting her every move.
So to the ROC, it would always be best to BASH the PQ and the separatists instead of including the entire province. That way, it shows that there are some nice Quebecers that can truly show their passion for Canada (and Alberta)
The Parti Quebecois (PQ) cannot even take a stance on any issues. Not even a referendum. What a bunch of twits. It never ceases to amaze me how anyone could take that political party seriously. They are a complete joke !!!
I actually like Pauline Marois.
You know they say the enemy of your enemy is your friend?
In this case it is 'the bad leader of your enemy is your friend'.
It's great seeing her mess up weekly. I read Quebec newspaper and you can always expect an article about one stupid thing she said.
If it's not about the Quebec citizenship and laws that would remove rights from certain groups in Quebec, it's about changing the official language to 'Quebecois' instead of 'French'. A peer-reviewed study by McGill has shown that the support of the PQ has steadily been dropping since she became party leader.
Like come on, she can't satisfy federalists (obviously) but still tries by saying 'Quebec should be bilingual' which pisses her party off, so then the week after she says 'Quebec language should be Quebecois, not french' which annoys federalists even more.
Marois also fails to realize that other countries really don't care about Quebec. Actually, if you look at popular culture (when it mentions Quebec in other countries) makes fun of it as a whining baby. Especially France. Actually all of Quebec party leaders need to realize France doesn't give anything about the provincial government, because in the end the federal government is the one in charge.
the smell of hypocrocy at its best HAHAHAHAHA
just another vache separatist
The PQ lost its edge after the first referendum.
The biggest problem with it is that it's essentially a big coalition of vastly different people with vastly different ideals kept together by a single idea. It's hard for a leader to keep everyone together, especially the extremists, hence why we see a mix of stupidly extreme policies and mysteriously inclusive policies which, in the long run, ends up pissing off everyone.
Remember how the Bloc was at first meant to only last a few years? Well the PQ should have, too. Heck, even more than the Bloc. After the short honeymoons of the first few years, a party as diverse as the PQ can't expect to last without enormous levels of internal questionment, especially after a tough defeat. Only an incredibly charismatic leader capable of rallying everyone despite being forced to sometimes please some at the expense of others can really keep the boat going - the PQ had one in Lévesque (who coincidently happened to be there for its first few years, so back then everything probably went as smoothly as humanly possible), but since he resigned they've had fairly good ones at best (Bouchard) and laughable ones at worst (Boisclair).
The PQ should have imploded long ago and is likely to within the next decade, unless Marois manages to impose a line of thought on all the extremist fringes and stick to a coherent message from then and on. Thing is, so far, she's actually managing that quite well, so I wonder what the party might look like in 5 years - wouldn't call her "grosse vache incompétente" just yet, for no matter how much I dislike her, her reforms and the PQ's militants in general, she might just end up putting the PQ back on track and save the day for future chiefs despite not being the best natural leader herself.
Here is a video tribute to the PQ queen Pauline Marois
Dance moves
Also, this is a good reminder that Pauline and her troops are not even close to being the official opposition, so it's time for her to sit down and STFU.
Ma chère Pauline, c'est à ton tour, de te laisser parler d'amour
Ridiculous, Pimp. The PQ has less time than the ADQ to speak but maximizes it - kudos to them for managing that. It's congratulations they deserve for achieving that - that, or blame to the ADQ, which has been wasting considerable amounts of exposure. Unless you think the system should only leave place to the two main parties, in which case the ADQ would never have existed and Quebec politics would still be Cons VS Grits!
And really, "not even close"? Were you in a cave when the election took place? It was tight as Hell. Anyone could have been the government, and moreso the opposition!
À voir les réactions des Quéfed sur ce forum j'en conclue que Pauline fait un excellent job
A+
Yeah but the ADQ actually say intelligent things while the PQ are giving us a separatist/isolasionist/nearly xenophobic stew every week. The stupid kid always gets all the attention.
People often overrate the ADQ, this was their chance to deliver as the official opposition. They obviously failed to really put their program forward (the two other parties actually stole bit of their program). I remember 'the ADQ had to hold back not to applaud the provincial budget [SIC]' (Pronovost, economics teacher).
I agree the question has to be put to bed and it was in the last referendum they lost.. we have to get past this separation thing... its not good for anyone and mostly Quebecers who want to move forward in a strong united Canada.. where people have a future.
Pimp, 1) I hate TVA and never watch it, and I more than once agreed the Quebec media are biased in the PQ's favor 2) I am barely linked to the PQ and you'll realize I criticize it just as often, if not more often, than I commend it because I am not linked to any party and am able to see both sides of the medal, a skill you apparently do not possess 3) you also never mentionned anything about the media, and let's read your comment again (without the urls) :
