No, herb you offered the idea that a thing you don't like becomes an insult just by you naming it.
I do understand that's the same thing as testimony from the Burning Bush in Progworld but in the real world we require more.
Substantiation would look something more like what I offered on page one.
I don't think this is unique to the CBC. All media shows bias now, I suspect a lot of the problem is there are only 5 or 6 major media players controlling all the media outlets whereas there used to 400 or 500 more independent outlets. So instead of 500 different takes on a story, we are left with 5.
The other part of the issue with media is that every piece seems to need an editorial take on it, this obviously has lead to the injection of opinion into the news. Which has obviously led to the end of objectivity in the media.
The only way to fix this problem is to break up the big media conglomerates and take everyone's opinion out of the media, an idea easier said than done.
