Two runs scored in the top of the 9th inning gives the Jays a 7-6 victory over the Texas Rangers, the first of a 4 game series in Arlington. With this win and Baltimore's loss, Toronto moved into a tie for fourth place in the American League East.
The Jays bring 9 batters to the plate in the 1st inning, taking a 6-0 lead before the Rangers manage the 3rd out.....
The Jays win it 7-5 bringing their record to 35-36 once again with the chance of making it to .500 for the 9th time this season.....
Roberto Osuna picked up his 19th save of the season for the Toronto Blue Jays in a 7-5 victory over the Texas Rangers and subsequently made some MLB history.
It was Osuna’s 75th career save and at 22 years old he is the youngest player to accomplish the feat in the majors as the Sportsnet Stats department pointed out on Twitter.

Apparently, Roberto is not 'feeling like himself' thus his absence from the mound. The Jays were behind 2 - 1 in the 7th when Pillar hit a homer to even things up but that didn't last long as the Royals get another run in the bottom. Then with a runner on 3rd and only 1 away, Marco walks a batter with a well known capacity for stealing bases. Marco gets Escobar who has been on base every time up, to pop up to Tulo - 2 away. Cain takes 2 balls........make that 3....finally a strike - 3 and 2 now.....fouled off....and a great play by Tulo on a hit to SS followed by the throw to first ends the inning with no further damage.
And the Jays come up short again as the Royals take their second game in a row putting the 1 over .500
Toronto wins their 40th game of the season and their 3rd straight win with a 7-4 win over the Houston Astros....
WOW....10-1 Houston in the top of the 6th inning......not much luck for Toronto to make it 4 wins in a row.....
Well we'll see what the bullpen can do to preserve the lead for the Jays going into the 8th inning. Marcus had a good strong outing going 7 full innings. The Jays got the lead off a 3-run homer delivered by JD after he came very close to being hit by a wild pitch. 3 - 1 Jays bottom of the 7th.
