Just going through all my camera memory cards and pics from up in the Arctic.
Thought I would post a few because i'm really bored.
This is blasting at Ferguson lake exploration mine, just south of Baker lake and one of the 40 camps prospecting in the Arctic right now for gold and uranium.
Thats TNT stick used in that allthough ANFO would be just as violent.
It's also the hardest rock in the world to blast....the Canadian shield.
Isn't that a scene from Mythbusters?
Fergy lake, where a young Albertan went through the ice and died a few years ago on a cat.
Here's a video I did from a CAT 350 hoe on the end of a runway we were building,I was the guard and the blasters can be seen in the video by the truck with the box in the air, thats where she fired the shot from.
If you watch close you will see all the blasters(3) running for cover and diving under the truck as the fly rock comes at them.
you can see the dust from the impact of some of that fly rock right in front of the truck near the middle of the video, right after the shot.
Our blaster was a gal, crazy bitch. She used to drive by me on her quad with a few sticks of TNT between her legs, smiling all the way.
Thanks ziggy!
Your pics and videos are always cool to see.
That is awesome!
That would really fun to watch
