I just found this very interesting. This albatross is at least 62 years old and the fellow that first banded her is 94 and is still keeping tabs on her.
I know there are some bird lovers on the site so I thought I'd share.

This was a great find.
Almost as amazing is the fact that Robbins, the ornithologist, is still working at 94 years old himself!

Isn't that great? People like him are very inspiring to me.
If I am fortunate enough to live that long I hope that I'll have that "something" that keeps my mind active and busy.
