Went for a bike ride today to Ste-Anne-de-Beaupré.

The second to last pic is a root cellar... there are hundreds of those around here, most of them build in the 19th century. The plaque on the third photo is on the house in the second photo... doesn't mean that it was built in 1640, only that the land was ceded (if there's a better word, tell me) by France to the Gagnon family that year. As you can see, the current proprietor is still a Gagnon.

Part 2... first house is at least 140 years old and the last one is over 250 years old.

Last ones... the first house is a beauty and is also over 250 years old.
