I'm sure most of you have seen the Top Gear Special where the boys went to
Vietnam with bikes / scooters.

Came across this trip made by 2 Czechs, off the beaten path shall we say. :)

Lots of great photos.. commentary in Czech and no, I'm not translating. ;)

Worth a look what JC and co. missed.

I love watching those travel programmes. I often watch my brother's Michael Palin DVDs.

I also love watching those episodes of Top Gear where the lads go abroad and are given certain challenges. There was one in which they had to ride across Botswana but, I think, were not allowed to use off-road vehicles. It was such adventure they had.

And in another episode they were taken to a mysterious location in their vehicles - one each for the three of them - in a Russian cargo plane. They were shocked to discover they were in Iraq. Their challenge was to drive from Iraq to Jerusalem.

My favourite was the one in the North Pole. Clarkson and May had a Hilux and Hammond went by dog sled. It was a race to the North Pole. I think Clarkson and May won and became the first people to drive to the magnetic North Pole in a motor vehicle.
