Canadian
Wow, that sucks. These Canadians discover an archeological find, and report it to the proper authorities, and they have to pay such a huge amount of money for it? That's not right. They did the right thing to report it, expanding our heritage and knowledge about Canada's history, and they get penalized for it.
Pretty sad.

The next such discovery will be properly destroyed and obliterated because of this dick move by the 'proper authorities'. Thanks,
morons.

Spence told the Star that the skeleton was that of a woman who was about 24 years old when she died, probably in the late 1500s or early 1600s.
How'd they know she was 24? Why not 'mid-twenties'?

I generally try to keep backyard skeletons under wraps.
there are plenty of such finds that go unreported when excavations are being done.....can't have a few ancient bones or artifacts holding up modern progress and construction projects

They can tell how old she was, but not in what century?

I just did a project in the house where I lined all of the closets with cedar. Musty old skeletons would kind of mess up the entire effort.
