The least they could do for taxpayers is make the little savage pay for it.
FFS people have dropped acid in the reservoirs and they didn't do squat other than test it so, this knee jerk reaction is just another shining example of the idiocy of elected officials and the minions who work for them as bureaucrats.

Good thing they have lots of fresh water in Portland.
Now I'm waiting to see a story like this from California, but maybe they don't have 38 M gallons in any of their resevoirs.

Living in Windsor, we got our water from the Detroit River. If the worst thing polluting it was little bastards pissing in it...

Not anymore. Haven't had to taste zebra mussels for about 20 years now either
