Oh well, I would not want my daughter taught by someone that thought their god required them to hide a part of themselves to remain pure when the men can do as they wish. No thank you.
Yea, Catholic Nuns are pretty scary.
Please tell me you have heard Catholic Nuns called penguins before.
Absolutely. I want to disagree with you, but find I can't.
Viscous penguins!!!
Viscous... definition
Having a thick, sticky consistency between solid and liquid; having a high viscosity.
Hey spell check said to spell it that way.
I've had teachers that were Nuns... viscous is a good a way to describe some of them.
"Under the Coalition Avenir Québec government’s law, civil servants in positions of authority — including teachers, judges and police officers — are not allowed to wear religious symbols at work."
Would that law apply to nuns in a private catholic school.
I don't think nuns do the penguin thing anymore, anyway, do they? They still have a little cap looks more like a nurse's cap though the last time I saw one.
From my limited knowledge it depends on the order. I saw a nun in full penguin gear last week shopping. Didn’t think anyone did that much these days
In Québec City there are still a few residences for retired nuns. Most of them don't wear the outfit, but some do. Sad that they are closing the monasteries they lived in for years and they are being relocated to assisted-living facilities.
