Raging Texas man is arrested for bashing New York City's Charging Bull statue and damaging one of its horns with a banjo while yelling 'F**k Trump'

An angry Texas man has been arrested for bashing New York's famed Charging Bull statue with what appears to be a banjo while screeching 'F**k Trump!'
Tevon Varlack, 42, launched his wild rampage on the Charging Bull statue in the Financial District of Manhattan on Saturday around 12.30pm.
Varlack, of Dallas, repeatedly shouted 'F**k Trump' as he beat the bull and damaged one of its horns.
Photos from his brazen attack show him holding up what appears to be a silver banjo as his weapon.

Startled witnesses called police saying he 'whacked the bull upside the head' and left a giant hole in the bull's right horn.
Responding officers questioned him but he was not cooperative with police.
He was arrested on charges of criminal mischief, disorderly conduct and criminal possession of a weapon for allegedly attacking the bronze statue, according to ABC.

It's not clear why Varlack beat the 7,100-pound bronze status. He didn't offer an answer when he was taken out the First Precinct on Saturday.
When asked his opinion of the president he said 'He's cool. He's the president' to the New York Daily News.
The iconic bull was created by Italian-born artist Arturo Di Modica in 1989 and was installed in lower Manhattan as a work of guerrilla art.
The bull has been vandalized before. Paint was dumped on it in 2008 and 2017.
