The Twitter account of Occupy Wall Street published a cartoon Monday promoting the murder of Immigration and Customs Enforcement agents.

The post features a CPR infographic altered to include instructions on how to kill ICE agents.

Occupy Wall Street captioned the picture, “What To Do If You Encounter An ICE Agent.”

One of the instructions reads: “Grab the ICE agent from behind and push your knife into his chest with an upward thrust, breaking through his sternum.”

Twitter users condemned the group for promoting violence and called on Twitter to take action.

Occupy Wall Street is an anti-capitalism protest movement launched in New York City’s financial district in 2011. The group later suggested the post was satire.

ICE has been targeted in the wake of the Trump administration’s decision to prosecute people who cross the border illegally, which has resulted in the separation of families.

The agency called on the New Yorker to apologize Monday after the magazine’s fact-checker falsely accused an ICE agent of having a Nazi tattoo.

The agent in question, Justin Gaertner, is an ICE forensics analyst and combat veteran who lost both of his legs when an IED detonated during his deployment in Afghanistan.

Mr. Gaertner said the tattoo is “Titan 2,” the symbol of his platoon in Afghanistan.
