It seems Alberta's government is asking for input from Albertans about next years budget and which priorities would you like to see the government work towards.

I think we seriously need to start saving for the future. The fact that the Heritage Trust fund didn't grow at all during the 90s is a crime. I don't expect a $200 Billion nest egg like Norway, but surely we could have put something aside. Even a modest 5% investment each year would mean it would be worth another billion and change.

   

Id agree with that. I'm surprised that there isn't much more being saved. After all especially this resource revenue will not last for ever.

   

We Albertans have enough money to spend on ALL priorities at the moment.
