Alberta is not as rich as it thinks – time to redesign tax

or they can keep saying no no no to everything in BC and then run to Alberta for JOBs...no wonder the new Alberta plate is Blue and White.
The opinions being put forward here suggests that Albertans will be leaving home to find work if no one wants their oil.
If BC and the US says no, one might think some ass kissing up to the east will be needed. Hopefully they washed first.

No need to worry as the XL pipeline is a go and no ass kissing will be required to reverse the flow in the east. You can continue kissing Alberta's ass for JOBs.

Not this fella, hoss, nor anyone I know actually. Ass kissing goes all around even if arrogance blinds the visuals of it.

No thanks. Doing great here in Vancouver. Besides, Alberta appears to be full of grumpy old farts like you.

Can you please come and pick up all your "youngens" driving around in Alberta in their rusty 1985 GMC pickup trucks.
In BC they call 6.5% unemployment a boom...in Alberta we call it a major recession.

I'd rather like to see any province turn to the Feds and say "I'm not paying equalization payments."
Bluster...
I don't think he was saying Alberta would refuse to pay, I think he's saying that without pipelines to sell the oil Alberta will soon not be able to pay. As much as I'm sure some people would like to see Alberta drawing a bit of equalization, I don't really see that as being any good for the country as a whole.
Yeah, that's basically what I said a few pages back, but it was ignored.
You can't have equalization when everyone has their hand out - someone needs to pay into the kitty first. Ontario is a have not province nowadays and if Alberta goes that way too, is the rest of the country going to be able to rely on BC to kick enough in?
I doubt it...
